May 2016 : Newsletter
Clay Prices Are Going Up May 16th Due to the continual rising cost of the materials we use to make our Specialties clay, we are forced to raise the price of our moist clay bodies. Our last price increase was in January 2013 and our material cost has risen approximately 5% each year since then. We strive to make the best product available and keep our prices competitive with all other suppliers. Starting May 16th there will be a $.02 per pound increase on most of our clay bodies. L&R Specialties will continually work to provide our customers with the highest quality clay products available.

Claydog Website Gallery Check out some of our very own claydog works.  Click on Gallery (far right) above.  Besides showing some of our own pieces, we will be featuring a different guest artist every few months.  Our guest right now is Keith Ekstam, a professor of Art & Design at MSU. Keith has even had a hand in shaping the future (for better or worse) of several claydogs. Woof!

Coyote Glazes Are Here at L&R!!!

The Claydogs are running with the Coyotes!

We now have over 60 different Coyote Glazes in stock, including the Shino, the Mottled, the Celadon, and Archie's Glazes Series.  These are all Cone 5 - 6 glazes and at the moment we have them mostly in pints, but we will be happy to order any of the Coyote glazes in whatever quantity, wet or dry, that you need.

Click on the tile above to visit Coyote's website.
