L&R Specialties Raku Kiln

For over fifteen years L&R Specialties Inc. has produced and offered what we feel is the most productive and convenient Raku kiln on the market.

The Claydog Raku Kiln is the most portable, compact, complete and able system on the market. Our exclusive "all in one base and burner" and "light weight vacuum shell" set up faster than you can find a safe place to fire. Both base and firing chamber are constructed at our shop in Nixa, Missouri using expanded steel. The kiln is both light weight and durable.

Every year these kilns are put to the test on the first Sunday of November. We place up to nine kilns that fire non-stop from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., firing well over 1500 pieces of all techniques and sizes. Everybody is welcome and invited to see this test of endurance of the Claydog. L&R has gone to great lengths to prove the quality of this kiln and we pride ourselves for it.
