WARNING: While Bill maintains a semi-active interest in clay, mostly his work is confined to
ceramic's frequently forgotten step-sister...concrete (cement, the binder in concrete,
is made in a kiln).
The fine folks at L&R, being the kind hearted people they are, humor Bill on his
errant path even to the point of allowing him to display a few works on their
website.
All the images on this page represent works created using the not well known
technique of fabric-formed sand-casting, a technique in which concrete is
poured into a cloth form which is then surrounded by sand to hold the concrete
in place until it hardens.
